The Savior's Birth

Many years ago in a town called Bethlehem. A virgin named Mary gave birth to a special baby. Mary was to name this baby Jesus. Mary gave birth in a stable because they had no room in the Inns for her. So Mary took baby Jesus and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger. Then an angel of the Lord appeared to shepherds. The angel said Behold I bring you good tidings of great joy. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. The angel said you shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. So the shepherds did go and they found there Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus lying in a manger. When Jesus was born there was also wisemen that came. The wisemen wanted to know where Jesus was because they saw his star in the east. They said they come to worship the king. They brought gifts of gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh. Jesus wasn't an ordinary baby. He is our king and savior. He came and died upon the cross for you and me. He wants us to spend eternity with him. So I ask that you please remember him this Christmas and everyday. So many people are taking Jesus out of everything. He is the real meaning of Christmas. I hope that you take time to stop and remember what he has done for you. Thansk for coming by Tracy's Corner. Have a great day and God Bless you.

What do you do to stay comfy around the holidays? Have you put up your tree? Do you go caroling? On this special December Staying Comfy tell us all about your Christmas preparations, festivities, and/or traditions.

I love the Christmas time. I don't think that there is a better holiday than Christmas. I love to sit around color and drink hot chocolate. I do put up a tree I love to decorate. I have never been caroling but it would be a lot of fun. I thought it would be fun to have a Nativity Scene with real people. I have always thought that would be fun. The last two years for my Birthday I have when to Silver Dollar City. Its decorated for Christmas on my Birthday. I love the Christmas lights. On Christmas we usually eat dinner at home. Then we go to my husbands aunt's house for a little while. Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Because that when my Savior was born. I am so glad that I know the real meaning of Christmas. Because I don't think that Christmas would have the same meaning if I didn't know the real meaning of it. But there is just something about the holiday. Its just more peaceful than any other holiday. I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year. Thanks for coming and visiting Tracy's Corner. I hope you come back and visit me. Thanks everyone God Bless you

N
ovember is a time when many celebrate Thanksgiving.
What do you do to make your family's Thanksgiving a rewarding time?
Do you host Thanksgiving at your own house, or visit family and friends?
Do you have special decorations, or dishes you use?
What's your family's favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving? What are you most thankful for?
What do you do after dinner?
Do you stress out during the Thanksgiving season?
Do you shop the next day?
If you homeschool, do you do anything different for Thanksgiving in your homeschool?

November is a grea time of the year. I love it because it starts cooling off, and the trees are changing colors. I love the fall. Sometimes we stay home for Thanksgiving and then some times we visit my husband's aunt for Thanksgiving. My favorite thing to eat at Thanksgiving dinner is the ham. I like turkey but its not Thanksgiving dinner without a ham. I love ham, turkey, mash potatoes, corn, and lets not forget about the cheese cake. Thats my favorite desert for Thanksgiving. Usually after having dinner the boys get together and ride forwheelers or some of them get ready for a nap. The girls set around and gossip I'm just kidding about the gossip thing. We like to get together sing and play music. Well some of use doesn't know how to play music. But Tam and her husband does. Then after visiting with family and friends. I come home and put up my Christmas tree. I love getting ready for Christmas. I not really going to have much shopping to do this year. Because me and my Mother-in-law have been making my families Christmas presents. We you have a family as big as ours. You learn how to make Christmas presents. But I love studing about the Pligrims and the Indians. Its just so much fun learning about them. Last year I reading a book called the Pilgrim Boy. There is no better story then that one for children. But anyways I want to ask you to stop for a minute and remember the meaning of Thanksgiving. Because the Pilgrims knew who to give Thanks to. I hope that you will remember who to give Thanks to on Thanksgiving Day. Because without Jesus we would have nothing. So on Thanksgiving give Jesus so praise for what you have. I mean you should everyday. But anyways Thanks for coming and visiting Tracy's Corner and have a great Thanksgiving. I hope you in enjoyed it you are always welcome and may God bless you and your family.
